How It All Began

Like many good things, our journey into natural skincare started simply — with a desire to know exactly what was going on our family's skin. As a family deeply connected to the land and the rhythms of homestead life, we found ourselves turning back to time-honoured traditions that our grandparents would recognise: real food, real ingredients, real care.

Tallow — rendered beef fat — has been used for centuries as a skin nourishing balm. It's rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K, and its fatty acid profile is remarkably similar to the oils our own skin produces naturally. When we discovered just how well it worked for our own family, we knew we had something worth sharing.

Why Grass-Fed Tallow?

Not all tallow is created equal. We source our beef fat exclusively from grass-fed, pasture-raised cattle — because what the animal eats matters deeply to the quality of what ends up on your skin. Grass-fed tallow is richer in nutrients, particularly conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and fat-soluble vitamins, making it a genuinely nourishing ingredient rather than just a carrier.

We believe that if you wouldn't eat it, you probably shouldn't put it on your skin. That philosophy guides every single ingredient we choose.

Handcrafted in Bundaberg, By Us

Every product that leaves our homestead is made by hand — by us, in small batches, with care and attention you simply can't replicate at scale. We render our own tallow, combine it with carefully chosen natural botanicals and essential oils, and pack each jar ourselves.

There are no factories, no outsourced manufacturing, no mystery ingredients. Just a family who cares about what we make and who we make it for.
